The Play School Mission

We provide a nurturing, enjoyable and age appropriate program that helps children achieve their full potential in a safe,  rewarding environment. We regard each child as a unique human being; we therefore offer materials and activities that encourage personal choice and discovery as well as appropriate responses to teacher direction. Each child will develop skills to enhance his/her self esteem and to form the basis for successful socializing with other children and adults. Our approach is designed to build enthusiasm for learning, to encourage participation in group activities and to create strong relationships between parents and school.

The Play School Program

Founded in 1963, our Play School program consists of carefully selected and integrated activities designed to encourage growth in the social, emotional, creative, physical and cognitive development of young children. Our objectives are to help children build self confidence, meet new friends and develop positive feelings towards the world around them.

We are committed to the belief that children learn by doing. At Play School children participate in a wide variety of activities including music, art, movement, storytelling, puzzles, blocks, dramatic play and more.

Our teacher to student ratio offers the opportunity for individual attention. Parents are encouraged to share in our classroom activities.

Play School Hours 2010-2011

AM 2s': 9:15 AM- 12 PM (Schedules of 2 or 3 days Monday - Friday)

AM 3s': 8:45 AM- 11:30 PM (Schedules of 3 or 4 days Monday - Friday)

AM 4s'; 9 AM- 11:45 PM (Schedules of 3, 4 or 5 days Monday - Friday)

PM 3/ 4s' : 12:30 PM- 3:15 PM (Schedules of 3 or 4 days Monday - Thursday)

Registration and Tuition 2010-2011

To register for Play School there is a $500 non-refundable registration fee.Tuition is paid in four quarterly payments; June 1, September 1, December 1 and March 1. 

Children who are coming in the 2s’ program:

2 days per week  $937.50 per quarter (Yearly tuition $3750)

3 days per week $1237.50 per quarter (Yearly tuition $4950)

Children coming in the 3s’ and 4s’ program:

3 days per week $975.00  per quarter  (Yearly tuition $3900)

4 days per week $1250.00  per quarter (Yearly tuition $5000)

5 days per week $1500.00 per quarter (Yearly tuition $6000) (Applies to 4 year old children only.)
